A top financial services company in Boston’ Financial District is seeking an AML Analyst to join their team. In this contract role, you will be responsible for conducting internal reviews of possible violations of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act and all matters related to potential financial crimes, inclusive of money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud and other securities and transactional-related activity. The successful candidate will review client due diligence records, new and existing account reviews, quality assurance for account approvals, on-boarding due diligence and sanctions alert reviews. Responsibilities for the AML Analyst:
  • Responsible of monthly and daily transaction alerts, sanctions alerts, client file review, and conducting   due diligence searches and metrics
  • Participate in the annual AML risk assessment by testing adherence to the AML policy and procedures by the lobs
  • Update and ensure accuracy of all tracking logs for metrics reporting
  • Assist in preparing the monthly metrics reporting
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and documents work product
  • Maintain system administration tables and updates
  • Ensure timely completion of all mandatory training requirements
  • Ensure all licenses and certifications are up to date
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and news
  • Perform independent risk-based analysis of clients, inclusive of institutions, individuals and government sponsored entities, for purposes of firm policy and regulatory expected due diligence risk assessment and measurement
  • Review documentation versus business-sponsored client profiles for consistency, accuracy and relevance
Requirements for the AML Analyst:
  • 1-3 years of business or compliance experience
  • Working knowledge of Actimize preferred
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
