A leading university in Boston, MA is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join their team. Standard hours of the Admissions Coordinator position are 8: 45am to 4: 45 pm, M-F

Responsibilities for the Admissions Coordinator:
  • Responsible for the effective support in all admissions staff functions including, but not limited to, answering telephones, greeting visitors, and scheduling visits in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • Responsible for the timely, friendly, and enthusiastic communication with all applicants who reach out to the office and request information, whether by phone, email, or in person
  • Ensure up-to-date and accurate admission records in the student database
  • Upload information into ImageNow and SLATE, and routing applicant files to relevant committee members in a timely manner
  • Reconcile all applicant files with the various databases, including ImageNow, Aces2, LSAC, Colleague, and SLATE
  • Produce computerized reports, as needed
  • Train admission staff on technology and technology upgrades including not only the admission data base, but also training on other word processing and spread sheet products
  • Support the Assistant Dean and other leadership staff, especially during the recruitment season
  • Responsible for accurate data flow and the upkeep of records within the SLATE CRM
  • Responsible for overseeing the admissions functions of the candidates which requires the tracking of completed files, readying those files for review, and sending decisions out in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist the leadership staff, as needed, with projects or tasks as they arise
Requirements for the Admissions Coordinator:
  • 2-3 years of office experience, experience in a university admissions office preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in working with a relational database
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook and Excel critical)
  • Knowledge of Informer, ImageNow and ACES2 preferred
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
