A global retail company in Framingham, MA is seeking an Analyst to join their team. In this contract-to-hire role, you will be part of the e-commerce organization, and will contribute directly to driving profitable sales. As the Analyst, you will ensure customers have a positive online experience by working to continually add to and improve the online product content using business sense to make recommendations to product hierarchy structures, keywords and search functionality on the company's website. Responsibilities for the Analyst:
  • Support product content for all products on website
  • Support and publish on-time and best in class website product content to coincide with product launches, catalogs, flyers and online product promotions
  • Create and maintain product hierarchies, product attributes, cross-sell opportunities, keywords and more
  • Work with Marketing, Merchandising, and Vendors to support online programs including vendor priority placement
  • Partner with Global Content, Merchandising, Marketing, Ecommerce, Replenishment, Advertising, Product Vendors, and Wholesalers to gain product knowledge and improve site content
  • Analyze competitor shopping sites, web analytics data, and other customer behavior information to make informed decisions which positively impact the websites
  • Communicate and present findings, research, and impact made to the larger organization
  • Identify opportunities to improve the company’ s website’ s usability by participating in projects surrounding enhancements to Search and the structure of the online catalog, including catalog browse and product hierarchy                                                                                                       
Requirements for the Analyst:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree  
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Access and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities, creative thinker, detail oriented and intrinsically motivated
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, understanding key priorities and managing to deliverable dates
  • Merchandising, Marketing or business management background preferred
  • Working knowledge of web site structure and functionality preferred
  • Experience with HTML preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
