Our client is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join their team in Wayland, MA! You will be joining a travel company and assisting customers via phone, email, and chat. Hours for the Customer Service Specialist:

  • Position 1:
    • Monday – Thursday 11: 30 am - 8: 00 pm
    • Friday 10: 30 am – 7: 30 pm
    • *Includes a 1 hour lunch break
  • Position 2:
    • Monday- Friday 8: 30 am – 5: 00 pm
    • *Includes a 1 hour lunch break

Responsibilities for the Customer Service Specialist:

  • Answer the phone and respond to inquiries
  • Review, respond and management of emails/voicemails received into Customer Service
  • Assist with travel related issues, concerns and feedback from our customers
  • Monitor and respond to customers via Live Chat
  • Review and follow-up with responses to customer feedback
  • Complete courtesy calls to existing customers when necessary
  • Escalate issues to upper management when appropriate, recognizing the chain of command
  • Build professional relationships within organization (Resorts/Wholesalers/Sales representatives)
  • Maintain customer confidentiality on a daily basis
  • Support a team environment and assist in other areas when needed

Requirements for the Customer Service Specialist:
  • Previous Customer Service background
  • Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities and demonstrate good time management and organization
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
  • Able to communicate internally using Skype
  • Proficient in Word and Outlook programs
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
