Responsibilities for the Derivatives Middle Office Analyst:

  • Responsible for derivative trade life cycle processing, trade confirmations, reconciliations, OTC and margin settlements, fielding audit inquiries, liaising with Front Office and Solutions Team, collateral management, static data maintenance and reporting
  • Report to the Director of Derivative Operations
  • Stay current with global regulatory changes as it relates to derivatives reform and provide recommendation for changes that may impact the current internal controls environment
  • Interact with the Accounting and Middle Office teams on issues pertaining to valuation and data integrity


Requirements for the Derivatives Middle Office Analyst:
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred or equivalent experience working in a Derivatives back or middle office environment
  • 3-5 years of Investment/Derivatives industry experience with an emphasis on trade life-cycle and settlements
  • Influence and work collaboratively with stakeholders in a sophisticated and demanding business environment
  • Strong MS Office skill set and excellent working knowledge of Bloomberg and Swift
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage changing priorities and complete several tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
