Responsibilities for the Director of Human Resources:
  • Direct the delivery of HR services including HR staff management, policies, procedures, benefit management, employee relations, clinical recruiting, onboarding and compensation
  • Partner with client managers on an ongoing basis regarding strategic and day to day HR services provided
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing HR delivery opportunities related to employee investigations, policy compliance and employee relations
  • Partner with client executive managers on escalated employee relations issues
  • Respond to questions or complaints from employees and executive client managers in a timely fashion
  • Prepare all separation related paperwork
  • Manage all HR Department personnel including Clinical Recruiting, HRIS and Facility Credentialing Group
  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching and feedback to team members
  • Coordinate annual reviews for multiple clients
  • Make recommendations to executive client management for improvement of the organization’ s policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters including benefit management, clinical recruiting, employee relations, performance management and staff retention
  • Direct onboarding of new clients
  • Prepare and update employee handbooks and policies and procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance within the organization and our clients
  • Direct the analysis, maintenance and communications of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization and for clients
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance
  • Study legislation to assess industry trends
  • Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity
  • Administer benefit programs including health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, profit sharing and retirement plans, vacation, sick leave, leaves of absence for multiple clients
  • Conduct open enrollment for multiple clients
  • Oversee workers’ compensation programs
  • Provide compensation support to determine labor markets and determine competitive wages
  • Oversee preparation of all new hire paperwork, including all offer letters
  • Oversee onboarding of new hires for multiple clients
  • Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations
  • Contract with outside suppliers to provide employee services
  • Manage vendor relationships for benefits programs
  • Work closely with the Finance department to support the payroll process
  • Support Management by providing human resources advice and counsel
Requirements for the Director of Human Resources:
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 10+ years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Experience working with multiple clients preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in a HR leadership position
  • Health care experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting and other HR functions
  • PHR certification preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership and planning skills
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
