Our client in Waltham, MA is seeking an Education Program Coordinator to join their team. In this contract-to-hire role, you will be responsible for driving the increase of recognition and skills amongst the education market population and assisting the Marketing Manager with strategic sponsorships, field marketing support and tradeshow management. Tasks include but are not limited to; coordinating academic licensing for students, instructors, and schools; liaison with local, regional, and national associations in the AEC space, scheduling local, regional, and national events; supporting collateral development and delivery for local events. Responsibilities for the Education Program Coordinator:
  • Coordinate the EDU program
  • Develop and implement the Education Program consistent with local strategic and tactical objectives including:
    • Student and school licensing
    • Coordinating presence at local, regional, and national EDU event and activities
    • Liaison with regional and national level student and educator associations
    • Managing of social media and targeted campaigns
    • Analyzing and evaluating audience database to determine demographics and identify specific areas of growth events
  • Schedule local, regional, and national events in coordination with sales and marketing staff
  • Coordinate an array of event specific actions including but not limited to:
    • Procurement and setup of exhibition space
    • Research and identify relevant events
    • Coordinate speaking opportunities and partnerships where ever possible
    • Sponsorship fulfillment
    • Collateral creation and delivery
    • Team staffing and logistics

Requirements for the Education Program Coordinator:
  • BA or BS equivalent in marketing, communications, business or related field
  • 2 years’ experience in event management or related activity
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and familiarity with Google Analytics and WordPress preferred
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
