A leading financial services company in Boston’ s Financial District is seeking a Entry Level Global Cash Processing Specialist to join their team (pay is $14/hr). This contract-to-hire role is responsible for processing various clients' capstock, expenses and other cash transactions. In addition, the specialist is responsible for cash clearing account reconciliations, cash breaks resolution and timely inquiry responses. Responsibilities for the Entry Level Global Cash Processing Specialist:
  • Process clients' cash transactions including capstock, expenses, wires, book transfers, expects and foreign exchange
  • Meet all client deliverables in accordance with Global Cash Services procedures and controls.
  • Research and resolve all client cash inquiries in accordance with Global Cash Services procedures and controls
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to internal and external clients
  • Work closely with the client, Client Service teams, Treasury, Funds Transfer, and Transfer Agents to foster strong working relationships
  • Escalate sensitive/risk issues to management
  • Cross train with other colleagues to assist with coverage during absences
  • Enhance quality and efficiency by identifying workflow improvements
  • Keep abreast of market changes and impact to cash processes/settlements
  • Understand and monitor cash restrictions and penalties in local markets to avoid potential risk to the client and/or the firm
  • Maintain a solid understanding of cash practices and deadlines by market
Requirements for the Entry Level Global Cash Processing Specialist:
  • 1-2 years global custody experience
  • Working knowledge of global cash and FX markets preferred
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
