Responsibilities for the Medical Billing Supervisor:


  • Supervise the daily operations of the Patient Financial Services staff for all related functions of billing, collections, authorization and referrals and referrals
  • Ensure that all patient encounters are accurate and billed in a timely manner, by the most efficient means possible and according to the hospital's Credit and Collection Policy
  • Oversee the billing and collections processes and staff related to International accounts

Requirements for the Medical Billing Supervisor:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree
  • Level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupationally-specific education or an Associate's degree in Accounting, Business or a closely related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience
  • The analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of technical principles and in-depth, experienced-based cross-functional knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views and issues and mediate fair solutions
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems and situations quickly and effectively
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
