Responsibilities for the Operations and Reporting Specialist:      
  • Post and balance all cash items including: wires, checks and ACH payments
  • Set up ad-hoc ACH payments, cash receipts and cash transfers and create recurring items where necessary
  • Work closely with custodian bank to monitor incoming wire and ACH payments
  • Oversee promissory note process – includes verifying receipts are timely and recorded properly and that notes remain in balance with amortization schedules
  • Manage check deposits- set up of recurring items, processing ad-hoc items and posting of all deposits
  • Setup and process all proxy voting records for trust accounts and working with outside vendor to ensure all proxies are voted timely
  • Maintain account and transactional data on accounting system
  • Provide support and assistance to members of the Investment Advisors on an as-needed basis
Requirements for the Operations and Reporting Specialist:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
  • 1-2 years of progressive experience within Trust Operations
  • Superior knowledge of Trust Operation procedures and the processing of individual account transactions
  • Excellent client interaction skills
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
