A top insurance company in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Recruiter with creativity, short and long term recruiting vision, business understanding and personal organization to provide full lifecycle recruiting support to the company’ s US Consumer Markets digital transformation. Responsibilities for the Recruiter:
  • Select candidates through resume review, phone screening, and behavioral interviewing
  • Develop and present qualified and diverse slates of candidates to managers
  • Use a variety of resources and creative techniques to proactively and continually source, develop, and maintain a qualified and diverse pipeline of talent available to access for immediate and future hiring to meet business needs
  • Leverage recruiting resources such as Internet, internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS), professional organizations and community associations to identify, recruit and network with candidates
  • Conduct in take meetings with hiring managers and establishes clear understanding of position requirements, sourcing plan, interview and selection techniques
  • Lead communication and relationship with hiring managers and interview teams; provide feedback on initial prescreening and interviewing of applicants
  • Assure timely action with hiring managers to schedule interview and obtain timely interview feedback including participation in interview team debrief as appropriate
  • Consult and advise hiring managers and/or senior management to develop creative approaches to negotiating and extending offers of employment when needed
  • Act as the primary contact with candidates throughout the process to provide a positive candidate experience consistent with our mission, brand and values
  • Collaborate and consult with appropriate management level and HR staff to identify and prioritize staffing needs and to develop sourcing and recruiting strategies
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions and other recruiting activities to ensure Company and legal compliance with employment practices, policies, processes, and applicable laws
  • Meet established metrics per the assigned business unit or function
  • Use available data, provide insightful, advanced analysis; make recommendations for hiring improvements and execute agreed upon solutions when appropriate
Requirements for the Recruiter:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience
  • Effectively work with key stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, time management and process management skills Knowledge of (and prior experience with) Taleo is preferred
  • Preferred knowledge of Avature
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands, receive constructive feedback, and maintain adaptability and flexibility
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of selection process and successfully manage a high-volume and complex workload in a fast-paced environment and to provide insightful analysis
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
