Responsibilities for the Social Media Assistant:
  • Plan content promotions
  • Write copy
  • Work with design team to create social images
  • Help with Facebook Live broadcasts
  • Watch trends and metrics
  • Gather feedback from social audience
  • Experiment with new ways to engage the community
Requirements for the Social Media Assistant:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Strong writing skills
  • Experience working at an online media company preferred (intern experience acceptable)
  • Experience producing and editing videos on social media preferred
  • Enthusiasm for social media and a desire to develop a career in digital media
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
