Our prominent real estate client in Boston, MA is looking for a new Accounting Manager to join their team! In this role, you will ensure a final review of GAAP, IFRS, and annual financial statements while also participating in the management of the company’ s regional accounting staff. Compensation: 85K-110K
Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:
  • Participate in the management of the regional accounting staff including hiring, training and performance reviews
  • Review quarterly revenue and expense variance analysis and report to executive and senior management
  • Review GAAP, IFRS, cash/modified cash basis quarterly and annual financial statements and other reporting requirements for external parties
  • Review all leasing transactions to ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures and compliance with GAAP and IFRS requirements
  • Prepare quarterly reforecast meeting deliverables for budgeting and planning
  • Evaluate the risk on long and short-term receivables and propose appropriate reserve to executive and senior management
  • Coordinate the review of business combinations calculation with finance acquisitions
  • Review, interpret and implement all management, development, mortgage and joint venture agreements
  • Manage all tenant audits from initial inquiry to final conclusion including review of any correspondence with the tenants and the regional support team

  Requirements for the Accounting Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting
  • Minimum of five years of accounting experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards accounting software (preferred)
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
