Responsibilities for the Senior Performance and Attribution Analyst:
  • Drive the monthly close process including establishing close calendars
  • Process journal entries
  • Review balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Compare monthly estimates
  • Ensure that the close process is streamlined and that roles and responsibilities of those involved are appropriate
  • Manage the commodity accounting team to build and develop capabilities to meet the demands of a growth oriented company and support the overall organization
  • Prepare various footnote schedule support for SEC Form 10-Q’ s, and Form 10-K
  • Manage data flow with external auditors and coordinate the preparation of supplementary schedules during quarterly reviews and annual audit
  • Maintain and ensure ongoing compliance with accounting policies and procedures including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control documentation Collaborates functionally and cross-functionally with other business unit managers in support of business goals
  • Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources
  • Provide recommendations and implement any changes necessary to efficiently improve and shorten the close process
  • Support management with special projects, workflow process improvements, and prepare other ad hoc reports as required
Requirements for the Receptionist:
  • BA/BS in Accounting-CPA preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, supervisory role a plus
  • Experience in public company strongly preferred
  • Public Accounting experience
  • Analytical, strong attention to detail and organized
  • Has exceptional judgment in prioritizing and making scheduling decisions
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, train and develop staff
  • Experience with Oracle application preferred
  • Experience with RightAngle a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office application (Word, PowerPoint) with significant experience using Excel
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
