Our client in Cambridge, MA is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. In this contract role, you will support all of the administrative and clerical functions of the purchasing department. Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant:
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, handle inquiries, and maintains files
  • Assist in implementing procedures to be followed within the office
  • Answer the Purchasing Department’ s incoming telephone calls
  • Order and maintain inventory for the Purchasing Departments office supplies and keeps supplies orderly in supply closet
  • Assist with the Purchasing Department budget and bill paying process
  • carry out administrative duties including but not limited to processing contracts for City Signatures and executing contracts, assist with the designer selection and contract processes and responds to public records requests
  • Update vendor and bid information in our bid tracking system Acts as the Purchasing contact for Purchase Order and other related issues for Construction in Progress
  • Additional administrative duties may be assigned as needed

  Requirements for the Administrative Assistant:
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
