A leading medical center in Boston, MA is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join their team. Responsibilities for the Administrative Coordinator:
  • Answer, screen, and process a high volume of calls in a professional manner
  • Utilize and adhere to the phone scripts and guidelines for triaging calls
  • Ask appropriate questions and use independent judgement to determine the type of appointment that is needed 
  • Utilize centralized scheduling system and software applications to schedule appointments
  • Verify and update patients' demographic information and transfer to registration
  • Inform patient of necessary preparation for a scheduled visit
Requirements for the Administrative Coordinator:
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years related work experience 
  • Experience with computer systems, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access)
  • Call Center and/or telephone customer service experience
  • Strong typing skills 40+wpm
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
