Responsibilities for the Administrative Coordinator:
  • Produce a variety of documents, reports, proposals and correspondence for board members and senior leadership
  • Assist in writing, editing and distributing board communications, and send news
  • Respond to routine inquiries and provide information to students, faculty, staff and other constituents
  • Organize and maintain program/project files and databases; review, maintain and update applications and other forms for data entry
  • Order supplies, make appointments, process mail and perform other clerical support
  • Provide staff support at board dinners and meetings during the spring and fall meeting cycles
  • Serve as the primary department contact for members and customers
  • Train and prioritize student help tasks as necessary
  • Handle the “ nomination” process of potential new board members from start to finish
  • Maintain private and public websites which has over 275 board members
  • Attend all board meetings and is the sole minute taker for all meetings
  • Plan and coordinate the Director’ s schedule to make sure he/she stays on track with agenda planning meetings, and follow up meetings
  • Design and update applications or other forms for data input and survey/chart results
  • Coordinate/take lead on catering, facilities/AV requests for meetings
  • Research travel and coordinate logistics for BOA meetings that are off campus
Requirements for the Administrative Coordinator:
  • Knowledge of Box, Webex, Access, or tech savy
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
