A Boston-based investment firm is seeking an Assistant to support their Investment Analyst team. This position is a member of the seven person administrative support team that assists and supports the firm’ s private investment team, including providing back-up support to partners and ad-hoc support for other projects as needed. Monday-Friday from 10: 00am-6: 00pm
Flexibility to adjust hours as needed

This position pays up to 65K

Responsibilities for the Assistant:
  • Provide excellent administrative support and client service
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates to ensure continuity of work, and priority and completion of work, in order to ensure seamless support
  • Screen and direct various communications, including answering and directing incoming calls, setting up conference calls, etc.
  • Arrange international and domestic travel for analysts
  • Assist with calendar management, meeting arrangements, etc. 
  • Maintain various company databases, contacts, and filing systems
  • Download, organize and distribute research from various websites and online research tools
  • Document scanning, filing, and managing
  • Process legal documents for signature
  • Prepare expense reports
  • Draft various correspondences for analysts
Requirements for the Assistant:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 
  • 7+ years’ professional experience in a fast-paced administrative support role
  • Administrative support in the financial and/or real estate industry experience preferred 
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven track record of success working collaboratively within a large team strongly preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage details
  • Experience supporting teams of high level investment and/or real estate professionals is preferred
  • Outstanding thoroughness, attention to detail, and accuracy 
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
