A national Boston based firm has an immediate for a Benefits Coordinator to support this dynamic team. This position will have responsibility for the general benefit administration and payroll processing functions of the Benefits department. As the Benefits Coordinator, you will also report to the Benefits Manager and work closely with the Benefits and Payroll/HRIS team. Apply today!

Responsibilities for the Benefits Coordinator:            
  • Maintain the Benefits Extranet and the HR Intranet site with up-to-date information
  • Assist with new hire integration
  • Provide education for employees regarding employee’ s benefit plan enrollment
  • Ensure COBRA and other information is up to date and administered in accordance with federal laws
  • Establish, organize, update, and maintain employee information in the Payroll system, which includes verification and accuracy of benefits data
  • Assist with biweekly and monthly payroll processing
  • Update information into third party administrator sites such as FSA, commuter benefits, and retirement plan
  • Process invoices through our expense management system
  • Create and maintain new hire employee benefit packages, leave of absence packages, core values packages, etc.
  • Coordinate benefit meeting logistics including registration site, room reservations and set-up, technology, materials and food orders
  • Answer employment verifications and serve as back-up to reset employee passwords in time entry system
  • Provide general support, as needed, to the Benefit and HRIS/Payroll team
Requirements for the Benefits Coordinator:
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting or related discipline preferred
  • Payroll and COBRA administration experience preferred
  • Ceridian Dayforce highly preferred
  • 3+ years of increasing benefits and/or payroll administration experience
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Outstanding sense of customer service
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
