Schedule for the Call Center Representative:
  • Tuesday-Saturday from 3: 00pm-11: 30pm

        OR
  • Sunday-Thursday from 3: 00pm-11: 30pm

Responsibilities for the Call Center Representative:
  • Handling 300-500 incoming and outgoing calls per shift in an efficient and courteous manner
  • Responding to requests to page staff members and changing the current paging status as requested
  • Maintaining the ability to multi-task and toggle between multiple screens seamlessly
  • Responding to all telephone inquiries for patient information, which may include handling confidential information
  • Responding to requests from staff regarding department on-call schedules
  • Handling answering service calls in an efficient and courteous manner using the hospital’ s guidelines
  • Escalating any unusual or difficult problems with callers to the supervisor
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements for the Call Center Representative:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type 35 words per minute  
  • Previous phone-based customer service and/or call center experience; hospital/medical environment experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
