Responsibilities for the Claims Representative:
  • Manage and monitor all phases of the claim process from initial claim reporting to final resolution
  • Assure all claims are settled in accordance with regulations and policy language
  • Review and interpret policy language and coverage provisions as they apply to the claim presented
  • Assist callers who have claim inquiries
  • Facilitate timely claim resolution by following up with clients, claim adjusters and insurance companies to address outstanding issues to proper conclusion
  • Prepare claim reports for clients
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships via phone calls, emails and on-site client visits
Requirements for the Claims Representative:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of prior insurance industry property and casualty claim handling experience strongly preferred but will train the right candidate
  • College degree preferred
  • Ability to project workers comp experience modifications utilizing Modmaster software ideal
  • Exceptional aptitude for customer service
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • An upbeat attitude and teamwork orientation
  • Ability to follow agency procedures with minimal supervision
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
