Our client in Boston, MA is seeking a Client Account Associate to join their team. As the Client Account Associate, you will have a group of accounts for which you will oversee many administrative accounting and client service functions. This position reports to the Portfolio Strategist and anyone coming into this role will be fully trained. Responsibilities for the Client Account  Associate:
  • Maintain portfolio accounting system (Black Diamond) for a group of clients and reconcile account transactions with custodian’ s records
  • Prepare client reports including quarterly billing reports, asset performance reports, client meeting documents and any specialized reports requested by clients
  • Share in operational functions including trade reconciliation/resolution, opening new accounts, tax season reporting and ongoing issue resolution with custodian
  • Work closely with portfolio strategists to attend to specific client requests
  • Communicate well with clients and/or their professional advisors such as accountants and attorneys via phone, email and written correspondence
  • Assist with marketing and presentations to prospects and on-boarding of new client relationships
Requirements for the Client Account  Associate:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree or higher
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services industry a plus
  • Adept in finance, accounting, and/or economics
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and financial planning topics
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task and prioritize well
  • Interpersonal skills and high energy level
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Project work with dependable progress reporting and follow-up a must
  • Customer service oriented
  • Experience with Junxure or equivalent CRM a plus
  • Knowledge of Portfolio Accounting software applications
