Our client in Boston, MA is seeking a Client Implementation Associate to join their team. As the Client Implementation Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of investor onboarding, investor subscription/redemption management as well as coordinating new fund launches.  You will organize all such activity as it relates to the company’ s private funds and work with the client relationship management (CRM) team to support client flow related reporting. Responsibilities for the Client Implementation Associate:
  • Oversee new fund launches and investor onboarding
  • Coordinate with CRM and legal teams as well as the funds’ service providers to review fund documents
  • Solve investor operational requirements, supervise investor tax matters and implement accurate set-ups
  • Manage launch of new funds with administrators, custodians and prime brokers including
  • Open accounts and markets, accurately setting up new investor profile, filling out tax documentation and ensuring reporting deliverables in place
  • Coordinate investor subscription/redemption activity
  • Track planned investor flows across all company private funds
  • Ensure timely review and sign-off of forms by administrator
  • Coordinate trading plan with portfolio management team and ensure transaction successfully processed by all parties
  • Design workflows and streamline processes
  • Develop, implement and oversee checks and procedures and collaborate with internal teams to enhance and automate workflows across business groups as it relates to onboarding and client flow management
  • Contribute to projects and automation initiatives
  • Develop business requirements and collaborate with internal teams to institute new tools, systems and reporting capabilities
  • Lead the coordination with internal teams to productively oversee and process client activities and implement new initiatives
  • Contribute to the enhancement of workflows and hand-offs across teams to collectively improve our procedures
Requirements for the Client Implementation Associate:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree is a requirement; Accounting, Finance or Tax concentration is preferred
  • A CPA designation and big four public accounting/audit experience in the financial service industry or asset management industry experience is strongly preferred
  • CFA designation is a plus
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience
  • Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with large volume of data, including data quality reviews is required; intermediate to advanced macro and VBA skills is a plus
  • Analytical and structured thinking, with a keen interest in how things work
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with ability to work with business as well as IT teams and be able to clearly articulate data problems and resolutions
  • Willingness to investigate issues and follow through to resolution
  • Self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
