Responsibilities for the Client Specialist:
  • Support client relationship management activities and client initiatives
  • Manage client administrative responsibilities such as coordinating cash flow activities, commingled fund activity, legal and compliance matters
  • Assist in the client onboarding process
  • Manage communications regarding account operational topics
  • Manage time-sensitive projects
  • Escalate client matters/concerns within Client Relationship Management when appropriate
  • Ensure client information is updated and accurate
  • Collaborate across internal teams to resolve client concerns/issues
  • Respond to/resolve client inquiries in a timely and effective manner
Requirements for the Client Specialist:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree or MBA in Finance, Business or Economics
  • 2-4 years of experience in a client relationship associate/operations role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong client service background with operational and portfolio administration knowledge
  • Experience working within an institutional asset management firm focusing on supporting clients
  • Ability to work well with internal teams, lead projects and manage time sensitive activities
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
