A leading medical center in Woburn, MA is seeking a Contract Analyst to join their team. As the Contract Analyst, you will report to the Chief Legal Officer or designee and will be involved in several areas of the contracting process including supporting the process of uploading accurate terms of active legacy contracts into the Contract Management Software. Responsibilities for the Contract Analyst:
  • Review, redline, draft identified contracts
  • Produce written documents containing complete and accurate terms and conditions of a business relationship that benefit the System by identifying, reducing, shifting or eliminating risk
  • Serve as liaison for construction, review and conclusion of contract language
  • Ensure contracts contain offer, acceptance, and consideration confirming all elements required to be a legal, binding document are present
  • Maintain precise documentation of contractual records and retention of resolutions for future situations
  • Communicate regularly with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in essential meetings
  • Manage database requirements and an accurate list of key contact information
  • Deliver solutions for non-standard contract requests, such as client-required paperwork, contract adjustments and amendments, and other unique situations as they develop
  • Collaborate with colleagues in finance and compliance to ensure that contracts are properly recorded from an accounting and compliance perspective
  • Engage and train users on the Conga Novatus Contract Management Software and DocuSign tool
Requirements for the Contract Analyst:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Paralegal degree or certificate preferred
  • Ability to work within or learn to utilize a Contract Management Software platform
  • Prior experience with Conga Novatus considered a plus
  • 3-5 years related work experience
  • Great negotiation abilities
  • A self-starter who seeks out opportunities for improvement
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web- based applications
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
