Compensation: up to $160K + Bonus

Responsibilities for the Controller:
  • Manage company accounting, payables, financial system controls, payroll and taxation functions
  • Establish operating policies and procedures that affect subordinate department units. Interprets, executes, and recommends modification to policies
  • Act as an advisor to CFO on accounting and taxation treatment of transactions
  • Act as advisor subordinate supervisors or staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position
  • Apply principles of accounting to audit financial information
  • Timely and accurate submission of Annual 990 IRS return
  • Direct and coordinate activities of the accounting department ensuring timely processing of vendor invoices monitoring cash flow projections
  • Management for the oversight of accurate and timely processing of company's payroll including tax filings and regulatory compliance

Requirements for the Controller:
  • 12 or more years of related experience
  • Bachelor’ s degree, Masters preferred
  • CPA license required
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
