A top investment management firm in Boston, MA is seeking a Corporate Actions Analyst to join their derivatives team. In this contract-to-hire role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with managing and processing corporate events for OTC Derivatives products. You will play an integral role in the interaction with and oversight of our brokers and outsource provider. The as the Corporate Actions Analyst, you will work in a team setting and communicate regularly with other groups within Portfolio Services; specifically, the Corporate Actions team, Accounting and Performance. Responsibilities for the Corporate Actions Analyst:
  • Execute daily processing/validation procedures while ensuring the integrity and consistency of OTC Derivatives corporate action data
  • Research and resolve in conflict action details
  • Work with internal and external groups to resolve complex action issues
  • Assist in the development of additional utilities needed to automate, control, validate and research data issues
  • Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements that increase efficiencies and/or reduce risk
Requirements for the Corporate Actions Analyst:
  • Knowledgeable in corporate actions  
  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced work environment while managing deadlines and ambiguity  
  • Analytical in approach to issue resolution
  • OTC Derivatives experience a plus
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
