Our client in Boston, MA is seeking a Corporate Contracts Analyst to join their team. In this contract-to-hire role, you will work under the general supervision of the Corporate Contracts Manager of Supply Chain, Medical Team. You will work with other contract managers, GPO counterparts and/or individually on behalf of hospital customers to negotiate and finalize contracts for the hospital's Pharmacy, Anesthesia and Respiratory departments. This position provides extensive support to the Material Management Directors, Clinical Department Directors, PHS Purchasing, MMIS, MM Content Management and Conversion Teams, Accounts Payable, Business Operations, and on-site logistics. Responsibilities for the Corporate Contracts Analyst:
  •   Manage contract expirations and renewals
  • Sourcing vendors
  • Request proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Work with Purchasing, Content Management Conversion Team, MMIS, Accounts Payable, Business Operations, Clinicians and other hospital end users
  • Negotiate cost, terms and conditions with suppliers using requests for proposals
  • Provide summary of proposals from multiple suppliers to consumers
  • Draft contractual agreements, amendments and addenda, letters of termination
  • Develop, negotiate, and execute major multi-year, multi-million dollar agreements for the company
  • Serve as a liaison and ambassador within the institution
  • Work closely with entity resource staff to solicit support and input in the contracting process
  • Provide input to Corporate Contract Manager, Medical Team on all issues
  • Represent the Corporate Contract Manager, Medical Team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Corporate Contracts Analyst:
  • Five years’ experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Bachelor’ s Degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred
  • Extensive contracting and negotiating experience (Health Care System preferred)
  • Technology savvy
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
