Our client in Watertown, MA is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to join their team. In this contract-to-hire role, you will work as part of a dispatch team with other Customer Care Specialists. Your responsibilities will include handling incoming calls from both internal and external clients. Responsibilities for the Customer Care Specialist:
  • Coordinate customer service requests with the assignment of appropriate field service personnel
  • Coordinate with customers the scheduling of all Preventative Maintenance programs
  • Maintain the Service Technicians’ daily schedules
  • Dispatch the technicians as service calls are received or completed
  • Schedule technician return trips with customers when parts are in
  • Follow up with technicians to ensure timely completion of all work in progress
  • Coordinate material, part and tool purchases for service technicians
  • Coordinate the scheduling of timely deliveries with service truck drivers as required
  • Maintain the emergency on call schedule for service technicians
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and technicians
Requirements for the Customer Care Specialist:
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Clear and concise communications with customers, group managers, and employees
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 years of related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Service dispatching experience
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC and Fire Protection Service/Construction industry
  • Professional phone skills
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
