Responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative:
  • Maintain a high standard of HR professionalism during all interactions with customers, colleagues, and supervisors
  • Assure quality and accuracy of information communicated and recorded
  • Use effective communication to maintain good working relationships with customers and solicit, evaluate and act on customer feedback
  • Prioritize required tasks according to business needs to ensure effective and timely completion
  • Utilize appropriate technology, processes, and people to deliver services to customers efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures in each customer interaction
  • Protect confidentiality of employee information
  • Communicate with internal and external customers with a goal of achieving first call resolution for HR inquiries
  • Handle inquiries received via phone, e-mail, mail, and/or fax as well as those assigned to shared services via case management tools
  • Log cases to document each interaction with customers
  • Escalate and assign inquiries to the appropriate individual and/or group for resolution if unable to resolve directly
  • Complete password resets for timekeeping system on behalf of employees
Requirements for the Customer Service Representative:
  • Associate’ s Degree with 1 year of experience; Bachelor’ s Degree with 2 years of experience; OR Graduate degree with a major in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Administration or Public Administration
  • 3 years of full-time, or equivalent part-time professional experience in human resources work
  • Ability to review and compare like data for accuracy, completeness and consistency
  • Ability to use a computer to conduct research, manage databases, and produce written documents
  • Ability to assemble items of information in accordance with established procedures
  • Ability to adapt to varying work situations
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
