Our client in East Boston, MA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. This contract-to-hire role has the opportunity to possibly go perm after 3-5 months. The hours include Monday-Friday 7: 00am to 7: 00pm with three shifts – opening (6: 45am – 3: 15pm), mid (9am-5: 30pm) or closing (11pm-7: 30am). The company also has Saturday hours that are from 9: 00am to 1: 00pm (Saturdays are rotating – usually two per month). Apply today!

Responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative:      
  • Establish new accounts as well as process correspondence, payment options changes, and fulfillment requests
  • File applications and other paper work 
  • Research and submit or process toll disputes
  • Record statistics for work processed each day
  • Prepare required paperwork for cash out following accounting procedures and return unused transponders to locked storage at end of shift
  • Perform departmental quality assurance reviews for items processed by other department members 
  • Understand and meet daily, weekly, monthly performance metrics and standards
  • Work a rotating Saturday schedule, one month on/one month off as scheduled or as required based on operational needs
  • Assist with processing e-mail inquiries for all programs; fax information/applications to customers/non-customers 
  • Assist in live-signup events and opening and closing the office
Requirements for the Customer Service Representative:
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call/communication center
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high customer interaction volume environment
  • Solid keyboard skills, with a minimum of 5000 keystrokes/hour
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Basic skills in Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
