Our client in Boston, MA is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. In this contract role, you will be responsible for all aspects of payments administration during project planning, implementation, and beyond. Responsibilities for the Data Analyst:
  • Create new protocols, which will include general protocol details, visit calendar and stipend entry
  • Create new users and remove users, as needed
  • Coordinate new user e-learning
  • Maintain training records
  • Prepare training materials and job aids for system users
  • Manage card inventory and distribution to study teams
  • Respond to service tickets assigned to Payments
  • Monitor system support email
  • Provide first-level end-user support
  • Triage/escalate issues to system vendor as necessary
  • Establish service call priorities and completion timelines with system vendor
  • Generate monthly audit reports for study teams
  • Generate periodic CTO audit reports
  • Coordinate payment reporting with Accounts Payable, Tax division, and study teams, as needed
  • Create and complete tickets in ServiceNow
  • Serve as primary contact for routine service issues
Requirements for the Data Analyst:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree
  • Experience working in research administration 
  • Experience working with electronic research tools such as electronic proposal submissions systems (Insight, InfoEd, etc.) or CTMS 
  • Experience with detail-oriented management of processes and data entry required
  • Experience providing end-user support for IS tools is highly desirable
  • Experience interpreting clinical trial budgets and/or protocols preferred
  • Experience training employees on new IT systems preferred
  • Comfort and experience with learning new IS systems a must
  • Service-oriented attitude: this is a customer-service role
  • Meticulous attention to detail, specifically with regards to data entry and reporting
  • Must be willing to contribute to and foster a team player culture where all are encouraged and willing to share information accurately
  • Ability to work and maintain focus within a complex work environment with constant shifting and competing priorities
  • Driven by metrics that measure both quality and quantity
  • Highly organized with ability to concurrently manage multiple requirements, opportunities and relationships with sometimes competing deadlines
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
