Responsibilities for the Data Entry Specialist:
  • Enter data from insurance claims into the pricing system efficiently and apply the pricing data to the claims paying system
  • Enter data from insurance claims into the claims processing system efficiently to meet client turnaround times
  • Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines
  • Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance to designated turnaround times
  • Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements
Requirements for the Data Entry Specialist:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role
  • Strong data entry/typing skills
  • Competency of Microsoft Office programs – Word & Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
