This contract-to-hire position will be assisting with UAT and the implementation of collateral management related projects. This role will also include developing new collateral management systems. Temp: $42.50/hr
Perm: 80K-100K  

Responsibilities for the Derivative Analyst:
  • Work with Derivative Operations and Treasury to calculate and recommend collateral movements for future accounts
  • Collaborate with team members to implement new collateral management system
  • Process internal ad hoc requests from various groups
  • Develop and manage working relationships with clearing broker back office counterparts
  • Review and perform User Accepting Testing for relevant work requests and projects prior to production implementation
  • Update and create new process documents for all tasks relevant to the position
  • Propose improvements to current processes that will increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Contribute data for quarterly metrics and report to senior management
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end report duties
  • Engage in industry forums and keep abreast of changes to global reform
  • Implement new requirements passed down by the CFTC, ESMA, and other regulatory bodies
  • Contribute to the capacity and depth of Global Derivatives Services in response to organizations current and future derivative demands

Requirements for the Derivative Analyst:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree; Advance degrees in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, and/or designations CFA, FRM, MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years of investment operations/accounting experience
  • 3 years minimum of experience in derivative products, especially the management of collateral on derivatives  
  • Experience in Insurance Company/Asset Management/ Industry
  • Working knowledge and direct Middle/Back Office experience in Management of trade
  • International Swap and Derivatives Association (ISDA) documentation and CSAs 
  • Custodian/clearing broker operations and associated reconciliations
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to create solutions  
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
