As a Director, you will work closely with clients’ senior management, external auditors and other advisors to implement best practices and solve clients' most pressing problems. Responsibilities for the Director:
  • Lead client fieldwork across multiple engagement teams, taking a hands-on approach to client work, which may include:
    • Presenting the accounting position for complex accounting transactions,
    • Reviewing quarterly and annual financial statements and SEC filings such as Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and S-1,
    • Advising clients around mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence, modelling, integration consulting and purchase accounting
    • Serve as interim Controller, CFO, Director of FP&A, Director of Corporate Development
  • Establish, develop and manage trusted client relationships
  • Utilize technical accounting expertise and deep industry knowledge to identify and analyze complex client matters
  • Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposals
  • Contribute to thought leadership, the development and evolution of our firm methodologies and intellectual capital
  • Manage and provide leadership to our professionals, becoming actively involved in learning, development and practice management
  • Limited travel (0 – 20%); additional travel opportunities available based on preference
Requirements for the Director:
  • Bachelor's Degree from a top tier college or university; Master's Degree preferred
  • Licensed CPA
  • 8+ years of auditing and/or accounting advisory experience; prior experience with a top tier public accounting firm preferred; audit experience a must
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Securities and Exchange Commission financial reporting issues, and/or International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Experience in the Technology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing verticals
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
