Responsibilities for the Director of Finance and Operations:
  • Finance
    • Manage and supervise bookkeeping, monthly closing and reporting, invoicing and tax payment
    • Ensure that tax filings are submitted and filed according to the local administrative regulations and the company policies
    • Perform annual statutory audit work and support the IFRS and Internal Audit of the Group as needed
    • Ensure strict control over cash disbursements.
    • Be responsible for cost control and cost management of the entire North American operation
  • Business Management
    • Perform annual budgeting process in accordance with the HQ directives
    • Monitor and report process for all business metrics across all functions
    • Administer sales operations for orders, invoicing, and collections
    • Provide operations support with the necessary facilities, office supplies, and IT infrastructure in a cost-efficient manner
  • Business Analytics
    • Provide reports, analysis, and scenario modeling in cooperation with the Managing Director to inform business planning and strategy
  • Human resources
    • Outsource accounting companies regarding payroll and personal tax administration
    • Relationship with local lawyers to ensure compliance with local hiring, employment, and termination regulations
  • Legal and compliance
    • Organize units operation in accordance with business policies and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
    • Prepare customer and third-party contracts for signature
Requirements for the Director of Finance and Operations:
  • Bachelor’ s degree
  • 5 years of experience with a company of comparable scale and complexity in a similar management position
  • Experience with a multinational company a plus
  • Demonstrated success developing and monitoring systems to manage both operational and programmatic work that involve high levels of collaboration
  • Highly proficient at supporting business visibility and decision making and management through reports and analysis
  • Proficient in Excel and data visualization systems such as PowerBI
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
