A pharmaceutical company in Cambridge, MA is seeking an FP&A Manager to join their team on a contract basis. Pay for this role ranges $75-$80 per hour.

Responsibilities for the FP&A Manager:

Program FP&A
  • Partner with Program leadership to develop and maintain strong financial management and analytical support for Program Development Teams
  • Proactively identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities versus current plans
  • Actively collaborate with Functional FP&A peers to ensure appropriate communication and issue resolution through the Functional lines
  • Play a key role in driving planning exercises with in-depth knowledge of the development team’ s activities and timelines
  • Maintain and improve monthly reporting of program financial performance
  • Coordinate with LRP/BD Manager to ensure alignment of LRP assumptions with team plans and help facilitate appropriate vetting of LRP scenarios
  • Collaborate on portfolio scenarios, which drive long range analytics and product valuations

Corporate FP&A
  • Collaborate across Finance, Accounting and Admin Functions to drive cross-company analytics (e.g., headcount and benefits costing, space planning, etc.)
  • Hands-on participation in the development and refinement of materials, which support Board Meetings, earnings calls and other corporate deliverables
  • Drive industry analysis

Requirements for the FP&A Manager: 
  • BS in Business or Finance
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience within a Pharmaceutical company
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP and Hyperion Financial Planning a plus
  • Strong commitment to the team dynamic and the importance of customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Superior analytical agility: grasp complex issues and perform detailed hands-on analysis while maintaining the ability to zoom out and think strategically
  • Demonstrated success as a business partner within project-oriented organizations
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
