Responsibilities for the File Clerk:
  • File for assistants/staff
  • File and remove material that is more than 5 years old from active files
  • Maintain closed files (monitor those that have been closed for more than five years and getting them to archive size)
  • Organize files in basement and take inventory
  • Destruct tax returns that are more than 7 years old
  • Destroy or remove boxes
  • File annual accounts
  • File tax returns
  • Maintain order of bullpen files
  • Scan documents
Requirements for the File Clerk:
  • High School Diploma
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
