A top investment management firm in Boston, MA is seeking a Fund Reporting Analyst to join their team. In this contract role, you will primarily serve as a resource for relationship teams and clients on mutual fund compliance and regulatory topics as well as requirements that have client reporting implications. The Fund Reporting Analyst will make sure that mutual fund compliance and other regulatory reports and requests are appropriate, well understood, and completed in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, they will interact directly with clients as the primary compliance reporting contact. This positions pays up to $30/hr - apply today!
Responsibilities for the Fund Reporting Analyst:
  • Prepare compliance and regulatory reports primarily for US mutual fund clients and handle client requests on these topics
  • Provide assistance on compliance and regulatory issues
  • Coordinate completion of compliance related reporting from internal departments
  • Coordinate completion of due diligence questionnaires and meetings for mutual fund clients
  • Review daily compliance results for a set group of accounts, liaise with Investment Compliance regarding validity/cause, and present issues, as appropriate, to the relationship team
  • Help to ensure consistency and best practice across our compliance and regulatory reporting to clients
  • Identify needed enhancements for reports and systems and assist in cross-functional efforts to develop solutions
  • Oversee the coordinated receipt of compliance related reporting from internal departments
Requirements for the Fund Reporting Analyst:
  • 0-2 years of relevant professional work experience, preferably in a mutual fund legal or compliance setting
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
