Our client in Boston, MA is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their team. In this contract role, you will be responsible for learning entry level HR tasks and routines in one or more areas with an emphasis on best practices, efficiencies and continuous process improvement. This is a part-time role with the working hours of Monday through Thursday 9am-3pm and 9am-1pm on Fridays. Bilingual in Portuguese is preferred. Apply today!

Responsibilities for the HR Coordinator:
  • Responsible for preparing, verifying, delivering, and uploading personnel documents
  • Follow up on employee absences, update trackers, KPI’ s, or reports that are pre-formatted to collect data
  • Update message boards, copy and scan documents, prepare visual updates or presentations
  • Assist with contacting applicants, setting up interviews or appointments, verifying information, printing documents, making packets, prepare notices or presentations
  • Assist HR Managers as needed to support goals of identified program
  • Collaborate and build partnerships with employees and department stakeholders
  • Ensure all HR policies are being followed, including meal breaks and onboarding/termination procedures
  • Analyze payroll transactions daily for exceptions and weekly for accuracy
  • Responsible for bi-weekly payroll process quality control, including balancing, edits and other auditing of time cards
  • Assist with processing weekly payroll, including data input
  • Prepare and analyze monthly payroll related exception reporting
  • Assist as needed for biweekly payroll process control
  • Follow all required safe work practices and models safe work practices
  • Responsible for adhering to all food safety, pre-requisite programs for a designated area
  • Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure a safe and positive work atmosphere
  • Maintain/distribute daily interoffice and interdepartmental communications (phone, mail, email)
Requirements for the HR Coordinator:
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, covering varied shifts and weekend work
  • Candidate must have proven success record (2-4 years) working in a dynamic and ever-changing business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter that is goal-driven with the ability to multi-task
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication, demeanor and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, count, follow basic instructions and apply basic math skills in English
  • Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to enter data routinely
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of UltiPro and English/Spanish bi-lingual proficiency
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
