Our client in Waltham, MA is seeking an HR Manager to join their team. As the HR Manager, you will administer HR functions and assist and advise offices in Mexico and Brazil with HR administration for their teams. You will ensure the proper administration of staffing, onboarding, training, skills development, and work permit and visa applications across operating units. This position reports to the HR Business Partner at the company’ s headquarters in Budapest, Hungary and dotted line to the North America Managing Director. Apply today!

Responsibilities for the HR Manager:
  • Perform standard HR functions and ensure proper documentation for all aspects of day-to-day HR activities
  • Support all aspects of the recruitment process for positions in company’ s America’ s offices
  • Monitor and report on changes to labor laws and regulations
  • Provide HR assistance to local management in the United States, Mexico, and Brazil to support compliance and other HR matters
  • Conduct employee onboarding, training and development programs
  • Ensure employees understand and are able to use existing systems to access and monitor their compensation, paid time off, leave requests, etc.
  • Promote, implement and manage global, regional and local HR programs
  • Assist in development and implementation of Human Resources policies
  • Help develop and maintain HR-specific performance indicators
  • Maintain employee records (electronic and hard copy)
Requirements for the HR Manager:
  • Bachelor’ s degree in human resources management, business administration or related field
  • Five years’ experience in human resources administration or related activity
  • Demonstrated understanding of human resources policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated success as an adaptable and flexible team player in rapidly growing and changing environments
  • Energetic problem-solver with integrity, credibility and commitment
  • Fluency in MS Office; prior experience with HRIS is a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
