Our client in Boston, MA is seeking an HR Program Coordinator to join their team. In this contract role, you will be responsible for supporting the onboarding and offboarding efforts for all staff as well as record keeping, filing, and fielding questions related to the onboarding process. Responsibilities for the HR Program Coordinator:
  • Cultivate relationships with department coordinators and administration staff
  • Support the coordination and implementation of staff on- boarding
  • Responsible for data entry and reconciliation of all Staff in Peoplesoft
  • Assist with weekly new staff orientation as needed
  • Create weekly orientation spreadsheets to be distributed amongst coordinating departments
  • Schedule Occupational Health appointments as needed
  • Issue renewal badges
  • Send confirmation emails to department coordinators and incoming staff
  • Act as liaison/contact to department coordinators on boarding staff, to field and answer questions
  • Support and adhere to all required compliance and regulations (Joint Commission, DPH, PIPS, OHS etc...)
  • Escalate necessary issues to the Program Manager in a timely manner as needed
  • Engage in extensive personal contact with all employees assisting them with the staff onboarding process (documents, questions, and general support)
  • Maintain and support office database and filing system
  • Answer and screen incoming telephone calls and route appropriately
  • Track and reconcile historical Peoplesoft entries
Requirements for the HR Program Coordinator:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree preferred
  • 2-3 years administrative, project and/or office management experience
  • Competency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • PeopleSoft experience
  • Strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills i.e. the ability to build relationships with people from diverse ethnic, cultural, educational, and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Ability to work with people from diverse ethnic, cultural, educational, and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a busy office setting with many distractions
  • Experience in project management
  • Database management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
