Responsibilities of the Human Resources Representative:
  • Receives, investigates and responds to managers’ and employees’ common HR questions
  • Provides first level policy guidance to managers and staff  
  • Assists with employee requests and issues on behalf of the partners and passes information to company partners
  • Responds to questions regarding Occupational Health, payroll benefits, or refers to appropriate resource
  • Serves as a primary subject matter expert and liaison to shared services groups
  • Supports HR team with duties including processing RIF’ s, separations and ADA requests for approval, maintains databases, creating reports and spreadsheets.
  • Assists HR Business Partners with PeopleSoft and helps with transaction processing
  • Responds to data requests and creates reports through PeopleSoft
  • Supports HR Partners with compensation projects, employee evaluations and seniority adjustments
  • Participates in employee file audits, gathering necessary documentation from a variety of sources.
  • Prepares data and information for Labor Grievance, Problem Resolutions, MCAD/EEOC, OFCCP cases, and other complaints
  • Coordinates the Problem Resolution program
  • Researches PeopleSoft transaction requests as needed and enrolls employees in KSS and updates PeopleSoft
  • Manages response for unemployment claims, the Wage advance and Hardship requests
  • Assists HR Partners with investigations and employee relation issues
  • Works with vendor and department contacts
  • Develops and maintains a repository of current job descriptions
  • Manages and updates local HR content for HR Portal
  • Participates in department-wide sponsored events
  • Suggests interventions and solutions to improve team effectiveness
  • May participate in internal or cross-enterprise committees and workgroups  
  • Assists in scheduling large meetings/conference calls

Requirements of the Human Resources  Representative:
  • Associates’ Degree or HR Certification
  • Bachelor’ s Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of related work experience, preferably in Human Resources field
  • Health Care experience is strongly preferred
  • General understanding of current state/ federal employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC)
  • Proficiency with PeopleSoft preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
