A local design company in Weymouth, Massachusetts is currently searching for a human resources manager to assist in their human resources department. The human resources manager will be responsible for creating a great workplace environment, that emphasizes an empowering workplace culture.


Responsibilities of Human Resources Manager:
  • Oversee the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resources staff
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and resolve problems
  • Oversee and manage the work of reporting Human Resources staff
  • Develop and monitor an annual budget that includes Recruiting, Human Resources services, employee recognition, and benefits administration
  • Select and supervises Human Resources consultants, attorneys, and training specialists, and coordinates company use of insurance brokers, insurance carriers, pension administrators, and other outside sources
  • Conduct a continuing study of all Human Resources policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments
  • Lead the development of department goals, objectives, and systems
  • Establish HR departmental measurements that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goals
  • Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment
  • Develop and administers programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
Requirements for Human Resources Manager:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship      
  • 5-7 years of HR experience preferred
