Our client in Boston, MA is seeking an Inbound Marketing Manager to join their team. As the Inbound Marketing Manager you will work with product, technology, and sales/marketing peers to educate website visitors about the value of partnering with the company. Your primary responsibilities will be increasing high quality organic traffic to the company’ s site, converting those visitors to leads, and shepherding those leads down funnel to become loyal customers.

Compensation: $80K

Responsibilities for the Inbound Marketing Manager:
  • Build and execute a successful Inbound strategy that meets the goals of quality leads
  • Use SEO best practices to scale the creation of authoritative, entertaining original content optimized for search and distribute that content via partner sites to drive qualified traffic to the company site
  • Increase high-quality, organic social engagement and visits via LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant social channels
  • Use technical SEO best practices to ensure the company’ s public site architecture meets Google search expectations; use CRO best practices to optimize the user experience and improve the site lead conversion rate
  • Maintain company’ s leadership position via industry awards and continue to build awareness for the Thought Industries brand with impactful PR
  • Use Google Analytics, Salesforce and other data sources to track Inbound performance, and focus on continuous improvement
  • Manage a distributed group of contractors responsible for delivering critical aspects of your Inbound strategy
Requirements for the Inbound Marketing Manager:
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a B2B / SaaS-focused, data-driven online marketing role, with a strong understanding of best practices throughout all facets of the customer funnel
  • Strong left brain / right brain execution that combines creativity with analytical rigor
  • Intimate knowledge of content marketing tools (SEMRush, HubSpot, Salesforce preferred), basic HTML / CSS, and Google Analytics
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SEO and CRO best practices
  • Management of part-time contractors with high expectations for performance
  • Excellent writer and content creator (blogs, press releases, eBooks, etc.)
  • Social media saavy
  • Previous experience with online learning software a plus
  • Passionate, motivated and hungry to succeed
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
