Responsibilities for the Investment Administrative Assistant:
  • Provide heavy support for Portfolio Managers and analysts
  • Cross-coverage for assistants on the desk by answering phones, placing and coordinating earnings calls, managing calendars, arranging management meetings
  • Monitor earnings, corporate announcements, special situation events for conference calls and road show information
  • Coordinate conference and travel arrangements
  • Monitor news, press releases, and events calendar for past and present investment positions
  • Gather and distribute research reports and company models using various research platforms
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with analysts and assistants
  • Be attentive to daily and general discussions on the desk
Requirements for the Investment Administrative Assistant:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in a related field
  • 3-5+ years administrative experience in an asset management or financial services firm
  • Exercises discretion and sensitivity to highly confidential information
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, Street Events, CapIQ and other research services preferred 
  • Technology savvy with knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
