Responsibilities for the Litigation Paralegal:
  • Organize pleadings
  • Assist with and manage discovery
  • Draft Chronologies
  • Process authorizations
  • Complete depositions summaries
  • Correspond and interface with clients and court clerks
  • Gather data and information

Requirements for the Litigation Paralegal:         
  • Paralegal degree and/or paralegal certificate
  • Excellent academic record
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines, and be resourceful
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using document management for saving and locating files
  • Proficient in e-filing and navigating court websites
  • Proficient in PDF software, particularly Nuance Power PDF
  • Ability to add bates stamping, combine files, separate files, and edit PDFs
  • Ability to use West Case Notebook effectively to work efficiently, particularly for facts, characters, transcripts, exhibits, research issues, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
