Our client in Boston, MA is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with 2+ years of experience to join their team. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, the creation distribution, and organization of sales support content; the development of targeted marketing strategies to boost sales revenues; and the preparation of company events and trade shows. Responsibilities for the Marketing Coordinator:
  • Assist in the timely preparation of price lists, point of sales materials, market research reports, white papers and presentations
  • Work with outside vendors to create foodservice and retail packaging and label templates, designs and proofs that meet customer satisfaction and deadlines
  • Assist in the timely creation and ongoing organization of company’ s marketing asset database
  • Assist in the preparation of corporate presentation materials for customers, vendors, trade organizations and various community organizations
  • Aid in researching and monitoring industry competitors, products and overall market trends
  • Conduct market research on conditions or changes in the seafood and food industry that may affect sales (i.e. regulatory, compliance, trade, etc.)
  • Assist in the distribution of content through a variety of mediums including mass email marketing programs; social media; and printed materials
  • Assist in planning promotional strategies and new product launches to foodservice and retail
  • Assist in the management of all aspects of trade shows including design, logistics and staffing
  • Create, manage and track inventory of all sales gifts
  • Assist in maintaining third-party product database systems including FSENet, 1WorldSync and others
  • Explore new technologies and third party services that increase departmental efficiencies and improve the sales and marketing workflow
Requirements for the Marketing Project Manager:
  • BS/BA Marketing or related fields
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales support role desired; seafood or food industry experience a plus
  • Highly organized, keen sense of time management
  • Attention to detail and ability to take direction
  • Ability to work in multiple teams across different departments
  • Highly self-motivated individual that can manage and complete multiple projects on deadline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Proficient researcher
  • Capable of writing professional reports, procedures and business correspondence
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Social Media management skills in Hootsuite, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube and Instagram
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and content management platforms and databases
  • Experience in SAP and Adobe suite of programs (Illustrator, InDesign) a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
