As the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for the implementation of all marketing initiatives. Responsibilities for the Marketing and Communications Coordinator:
  • Interact with clients and advisors alike to understand needs and craft discussion provoking content
  • Write and edit official communications and templates for online and print distribution and validate with compliance officers
  • Develop targeted social media marketing campaigns and campaign templates
  • Measure digital advertising reach and effectiveness through use of platform metrics
  • Develop an internal marketing and communications support office
  • Create a catalog of pre-approved, branded marketing content in support of advisor customer relations
  • Create processes for ingesting and incorporating advisor feedback, measuring effectiveness, and supporting requests for purpose-built messaging
  • Create marketing collateral for company’ s key services and capabilities (at a glance, overview, video) to use in marketing and discussions with prospective clients and advisors
  • Create targeted rich media (video) content
  • Enhance and leverage brand standards and construct templates for consistency of communications formats
  • Create press releases as necessary
  • Refresh website through a combination of WYSIWIG editors and some limited HTML manipulation
Requirements for the Marketing and Communications Coordinator:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 3-6 years’ experience
  • Experience with development of internal and external written marketing collateral
  • Experience with digital marketing content/website development (specifically through WYSIWIG editing and some HTML fundamentals)
  • Experience with basic banner advertising development (eg: Animated gif)
  • Experience with basic digital video creation (eg: Short Video/Vignettes, iMovie, Clip Cropping/Stitching)
  • Experience with fundamental graphic design skills (eg: Adobe Illustrator, cropping/retouching)
  • Experience with layout design, document template development, enhancing/adhering to brand guidelines
  • Experience with social media advertising (eg: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google)
  • Experience with   traffic/click measurement and analytics platforms (eg: Google Analytics, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Experience derived from employment at a financial services organization including (but not limited to): investment bank, brokerage firm, broker-dealer, insurance, RIA, or similar wealth management organization
  • Strategic, methodology driven, and consultative mindset
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
