Responsibilities for the Medical Customer Service Liaison:
  • Handle and respond to phone and e-mail inquiries regarding reimbursement of providers
  • Triage questions to team members as needed to obtain answers
  • Monitor daily feeds from multiple policy reporting services for policies relating to pre-defined conditions requiring monitoring and summarizing and distributing relevant policies on a daily basis

Requirements for the Medical Customer Service Liaison:
  • Strong telephone skills
  • Empathy towards the needs of both Sales team members and patients
  • Undergraduate or Associates degree (or equivalent work experience) in the health care/health administration field
  • Working knowledge of the coding, billing, and reimbursement of health insurance claims for surgical procedures (particularly in the Urology and Gynecology space)
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Ability to utilize MS Office suite and enter data into corporate systems as needed (with instruction)
  • Desire to support a team in a very dynamic but pleasant work environment
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
